Light Me Up!
Together with partners from Lithuania, Bulgaria, Cyprus and the Czech Republic we are currently working on 'Light Me Up!' - a project, financed by the European Commission. The aim is to promote the benefits of language learning among students and adults and accommodate 5 less widely used and taught European languages: Dutch, Bulgarian, Czech, Greek and Lithuanian. The main project result will be multimedia learning - oriented language sets which will give basic information in target languages about topics that people use in common situations when travelling abroad. Pressure Line is responsible for the overall organisation and implementation of the language events at Tourism Fairs in each of the partners' country and has also a special task to create a visual identity of the products and to decorate the stands for the fairs. Mission Possible: Chinese for Europeans
The project "Mission Possible: Chinese for Europeans" is funded under the Lifelong Learning programme (LLP), Key Activity 2: Languages, of the European Commission for the period 2009-2011. The project target group covers people whose everyday activities include direct or indirect relations with China. This target group will be reached through a network of business companies, cultural organizations and educational institutions created as a result of the project dissemination activities. The fact that today China is a strategic partner of the EU lays the foundation for solid cooperation with high number of organizations interested in facilitating their business and intercultural communication with China. For achieving its objectives the partners will develop a methodology for providing language information in Chinese related to the needs of the target group in an easily accessible way.
